The Bryce William Mitchell Memorial
Fund stands as a
living tribute to Bryce Mitchell. Bryce died in an automobile
accident that occurred as he was on his way to work with
children at a basketball camp last summer.
His destination on the morning of his death exemplified the
values that Bryce lived by. Preparing to begin his junior year
of high school, Bryce was committed to his family as the son
of Doug and Debbie, a brother to sisters Taylor, Morgan, and
Payton, and as a loving grandson. He was proud of and
dedicated to his school, community, and teammates. Bryce had
faith in the Lord and was an active member of his church. He
was a superior student and standout athlete.
As a result of his life, the Bryce William Mitchell Memorial
Fund has three principle objectives:
- To support Central Indiana individuals who show
and share Bryce’s values in helping them meet unusual or
emergent expenses that might prevent them from continuing
their education at a secondary school of their choice
or prevent them from attending or completing post-secondary
education.
- To assist individuals, who have exemplified those
values that Bryce demonstrated, facing catastrophic medical
or other emergent situations,.
- To provide for groups whose programs for children
and
adolescents promote those values that Bryce’s life
exemplified.
Requests for assistance may be submitted at any time.
